Correction Officers' Benevolent Association Endorses Paul
Paul Vallone is honored to announce the endorsement from the highly respected Correction Officers’ Benevolent Association.
The Correction Officers' Benevolent Association represents more than 9,000 hardworking men and women that patrol the City's prison system. New York City's Department of Corrections is the largest in the nation, housing between 13,000 and 18,000 inmates on any given day. It is the duty of the brave Correction Officers to patrol and keep these prisons safe despite the great danger involved in such an undertaking. Paul is very grateful for the work they do, and he looks forward to working with the Association to ensure acceptable working conditions for the Corrections Officers of the City of New York.
Paul was a member of the New York City Board of Corrections for five years, working alongside those that oversee the Department of Corrections. Paul is very knowledgeable on the issues that need to be addressed in terms of the City’s prison system. He will use this knowledge to make the best decisions possible to strengthen the corrections system and improve conditions for the Corrections Officers. |
